Live In The Moment

Sometimes when life gets crazy and busy it is hard to not get so completely wrapped up in yourself that you forget about the people around you.  I try so hard to live in the moment and not let tomorrow's worries take away from today.  This is easier said than done.  I concentrate on all of the blessings that I have and remember that I have no room to complain because things could be so much worse.

  1. But even if things can be 'worse', you can still validate your feelings. I'm glad you shared today, & am sending a hug for you, and you can hug those others you are worrying about. Tomorrow's another good day!

  2. Like Linda said, validating your feelings are important!
I'm in a wrist brace right now and keep saying "it could be worse." I have seen worse -- much worse. Like you, I have to remember that it's okay to recognize when things aren't peachy-keen.
Tomorrow is a new day. Sending smiles your way.

  3. We all have moments like this, sometime more than just a few moments - but you are wise to recognize your feelings, name it. As Linda and Stacey have said, tomorrow is another chance for the mood to shift. here's wishing for a great day!

  5. You are right. It can be hard sometimes to keep focused on our blessings, be content in the circumstances, and remember that there's a plan! I love it when days, weeks or even years later I look back on the knots of life and see the beauty that was created from them!

  6. I've been learning to let go of the little things in life because I always end up realizing that nothing is really ever in my control, so why am I worrying? It is definitely hard not to get caught up in everything, but I've been working on improving one step at a time, which seems to be helping me a lot.
